Introduction to Emma’s Bookery

January 2, 2014 Leave a Comment

Hello everyone I’m Emma, and I have created this blog as a place where I can share with others my love for books.

I’ve always thought about writing book reviews but it was only until the start of 2014 that I decided to write them up, and file them away on a blog where I can share them with other book lovers. No doubt they will be incredibly amateurish, but I guess my writing will improve as I read other reviews myself and hopefully develop my own style. Not only do I want this blog to be a place where I can write my review to share with others, but I hope it becomes a way of encouraging more people to read. These days it seems that we’re glued to our phones and tablets, and I find it incredibly sad when I see children following in our footsteps and not even picking up a book. Books give me so much joy, and I think that’s the message I want to put across with this blog.
