For once I’m in agreement that January seems to last forever. This year its felt like the longest month, I’m not sure whether its because I’ve found getting back into the swing of university has been hard after the holidays, or whether time has decided to go slowly for me.
I will say that January has been a good month for me nonetheless, I’m focusing on being healthier, exercising more and just taking care of myself generally. I’m close to losing a stone (which I’ve progressively lost over five months), and Sam has signed me up for a 5k run which I’m a bit terrified of doing, but its an aim right? You never know unless you try, and I keep saying that over and over in my head.
With regards to the start of my bookish new year, I have set myself the aim of reading 80 books. I’m currently a book behind, eeek. I snuck in a cheeky Penguin Little Back Classic in last night to bring my total of 5 books read in January, and I’m juggling reading three books currently that are quite large; Outlander, The Best of Adam Sharp, and re-reading Me Before You.
