My name is Emma, I’m 22 years old and I’m from the South East of England. I have naturally dark blonde curly hair but I occasionally fall into a ginger hair dying phase! (Currently ginger!)
In October 2015 I begun my Open University adventure and opted to complete an Open degree beginning with the modules; Environment Studies: Journey Through a Changing World and Humanities: The Arts Past and Present- so far I’m doing great and loving it so much! I previously attended a “normal” university but it just wasn’t for me and I made the big decision to drop out at the end of 2013 and its by far the best decision I’ve made, I’m happier and on the path to what I want to do for a future career.
I started this blog in January 2014 and I begun with just sharing my thoughts on the books I was reading and taking part in different online weekly book inspired memes.
Slowly I begun interacting with other bloggers/reviewers and authors, which then to my surprise a few months into my blog I received a couple of emails from two different authors asking me whether I would read and give an honest review of their books. I jumped at the chance and was flattered that they had asked me to do so. After doing so I received great feedback from them and since then my blog has grown immensely, and I’m a lot better at communicating to my readers and keeping up to date with the book world.
I like to keep my reviews fairly simple but informative without giving away spoilers, and with the assistance of other fellow bloggers who have given me some great tips I feel that I’ve vastly improved my presence as a blogger.
I’m forever thankful for the great opportunities that have been available to me this past year, and I am ecstatic to see how the future of this blog plans out. I hope that you’ll join me on this journey because I’m excited to share it all with you along the way!
